Noida techie death: what we know so far
Death due to negligence at a site with prior accidents raises serious safety concerns.
Yuvraj Mehta, a 27-year-old techie from Gurugram, died after his car fell into an uncovered pit near an under-construction site in Noida Sector 150 on January 16th. His death was caused by cardiac arrest and the incident occurred despite prior accidents at the same location. The Uttar Pradesh Government ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the incident, while police arrested the director of the real estate firm involved. The accident site, Plot A-3, had been left unbarricaded despite its prime location with wide roads on two sides.
