T.N. Assembly: Total breakdown of law and order under DMK’s rule, alleges Palaniswami

Edappadi K. Palaniswami, general secretary of the AIADMK, accused the DMK government in Tamil Nadu of a breakdown of law and order, rampant drug abuse, and criminal activities during its tenure. He claimed that the AIADMK's rule had maintained a strong sense of law and order, while under the DMK, incidents of murder, robbery, and sexual abuse have been commonplace. Vanathi Srinivasan, BJP leader from Coimbatore South, and G.K. Vasan, president of the Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar), condemned the DMK government's actions, stating that the Governor's right to speak was being violated.
