Kerala SIR: EC should ensure that all eligible citizens find a place in electoral roll, says Sathyan Mokeri

Sathyan Mokeri, State assistant secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI), has called on the Election Commission of India (EC) to ensure all eligible citizens are included in the electoral roll during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Mokeri expressed concern over the exclusion of many voters from the SIR list and urged the EC to include all eligible citizens, emphasizing the importance of democratic values. He also alleged that the SIR list contains flaws, leading to the potential disenfranchisement of citizens who lack age-proof documents.
