Kamal Haasan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam will ‘surely’ contest 2026 T.N. elections: Party leaders
Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) founder and Rajya Sabha MP Kamal Haasan is reportedly in talks with the DMK regarding seat allocation for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Second-rung leaders have stated they are not involved in the discussions, but confirmed that the party will contest the election. The MNM has identified 78 constituencies where it performed well in previous elections and is working to strengthen its structure across all 234 constituencies.
