Wayanad rehabilitation: CPI(M) accuses Congress of lack of transparency in fund use
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] criticized the Congress party in Kerala for a lack of transparency regarding funds collected for Wayanad landslide relief. The CPI(M) accused the party of diverting funds to its leadership camp and questioned the use of public donations for local body elections. The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, K. Sudhakaran, was also criticized for discouraging contributions to the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
