
Punjab police claims cracking ex-sarpanch murder case
Punjab’s Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav announced the arrest of seven individuals in connection with the murder of former sarpanch Jharmal Singh. The investigation revealed that gangster Prabh Dasuwal orchestrated the crime due to old enmity, and Sukhraj Singh alias Gunga and Karamjeet Singh were identified as the shooters. The accused, including those arrested in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and Mohali, Punjab, are alleged to have provided logistical support and weapons to the shooters.
