BJP leaders in West Bengal have criticized the presence of West Bengal government and police officials during Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's intervention in the Enforcement Directorate raids on the Indian Political Action Committee offices. The ED has filed a petition with the Supreme Court alleging obstruction by these officials, calling them "a disgrace to their uniform" and accusing them of aiding the CM in accessing files during the raid. BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari demanded immediate suspension and dismissal of these officers while Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee accused the ED of selectively targeting I-PAC offices.
