Concerns raised over continuing gaps in SIR process

Representatives from political parties, including MLAs T.J. Vinod, Anoop Jacob, and Uma Thomas, demanded an extension for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll in Ernakulam. They raised concerns about various issues, including hearing excluded individuals, changes to polling booths, and new voter enrollment, with some suggesting improvements to the online process. Hibi Eden, a Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president and MP, expressed serious concern over the SIR process, citing numerous objections to the ASD voters list and alleging that the Election Commission is sabotaging the election process.
