Parents, activists protest KPS Magnet scheme in Varuna

Parents, students, and activists protested in Siddaramaiah’s constituency on January 10th against the Karnataka Public School (KPS) Magnet School scheme. The protest, organized by the Save Public Education Committee at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan, saw residents from various villages express opposition to the scheme and demand its cancellation. They argued that the KPS scheme would lead to the closure of other government schools and emphasized the importance of academic education over vocational skills.
