CM to launch projects worth ₹1,595.91 crore in Kalaburagi district

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹1,595.91 crore in Jewargi and Sedam taluks of Kalaburagi district on Monday. The projects include 83 works costing ₹867.49 crore in Yadrami taluk, 292 projects estimated at ₹579.68 crore in Sedam town, and 76 completed works worth ₹110.35 crore. Priyank Kharge, Mallikarjun Kharge, D.K. Shivakumar, Krishna Byre Gowda, and Madhu Bangarappa will participate in the program. The visit comes after assessments of crop loss during the 2025–26 monsoon, with compensation payments issued to over 3.24 lakh hectares of land.
