Atishi video row: Punjab Congress claims FIR filed against its MLAs Sukhpal Khaira, Pargat Singh

The Jalandhar Police filed an FIR against Sukhpal Khaira and Pargat Singh, members of the Punjab Congress, for sharing a video clip of AAP leader Atishi. The police allege that the video, which was edited and doctored, contained derogatory remarks about the ninth Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur. The Delhi Assembly has taken cognisance of the FIR and is considering taking action against the Jalandhar Police Commissioner. Partap Singh Bajwa, Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, condemned the move as an abuse of power and a diversion tactic from serious issues.
