Atishi video row: Punjab Congress claims FIR filed against its MLAs Sukhpal Khaira, Pargat Singh

The Punjab Congress and its MLAs, Sukhpal Khaira and Pargat Singh, have been accused of sharing a video clip of AAP leader Atishi that the BJP has alleged contains derogatory remarks about Guru Tegh Bahadur. Partap Singh Bajwa, Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, condemned the FIR filed by the Jalandhar police against the two MLAs as an abuse of power and a diversion tactic from serious issues. The Delhi Assembly has taken cognisance of the situation and promised to take action against the Jalandhar Police Commissioner. Atishi, on her part, refuted the allegations, claiming she was discussing pollution and stray dogs during a debate in the Delhi Assembly.
