On Friday, Left parties staged a demonstration at the Gandhi statue near GVMC headquarters. A.V. Nageswara Rao of CPI(M) and S.K. Rehman of CPI demanded removing Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and canceling the Special Intensive Revision process. They alleged eligible voters were illegally removed from rolls and that the June 2025 Bihar process was extended to 30 States and Union Territories.
