Parties in Uttar Pradesh gear up to enroll eligible voters amid deletion in draft rolls

Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav directed party leaders to investigate voter enrollment discrepancies after 2.89 crore names were deleted from the draft rolls in Uttar Pradesh. The Election Commission announced a claims and objections process, with the final list scheduled for March 6th. The SP is encouraging eligible voters to verify their details and participate in the process, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also held awareness drives to ensure no one is left out.
