AI start-ups ‘co-architects’ of India’s future, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the crucial role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming society, highlighting its importance for India's future. He addressed a roundtable with 12 Indian AI start-ups ahead of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, urging them to develop an ethical and inclusive AI model that reflects "Made in India" values. Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State Jitin Prasada were also present at the meeting. The start-ups expressed their confidence in India's growing role as a global leader in AI development.
