The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches on the premises of I-PAC, a political consultancy firm, and its director Pratik Jain in Kolkata as part of a money laundering investigation. Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Chief Minister, visited Jain's residence and condemned the ED action, alleging it was politically motivated and aimed at seizing sensitive party documents.
