UAE to invest additional $25 billion in India, aiming for $100 billion total
On September 28, 2026, Piyush Goyal announced that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) plans to invest an additional $25 billion in India, bringing its total investment target to $100 billion. The two countries agreed to deepen cooperation across ports, shipbuilding, energy security, space technology, and financial services during their 14th High-Level Joint Task Force meeting. They also set a goal of doubling bilateral trade to $200 billion by 2032.
