IUML leader V.K. Ebrahim Kunju laid to rest with State honours

IUML leader and former Minister V.K. Ebrahim Kunju was laid to rest at the Alangad Juma Masjid graveyard with full State honors on Wednesday after his death from cancer at age 73. Kunju served as a Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly four times, representing Kalamassery constituency from 2011 to 2021 and Mattancherry constituency from 2001 to 2011. He also held ministerial positions in the United Democratic Front government, serving as Minister for Public Works and Minister for Industries. IUML State president Panakkad Syed Sadikali Shihab Thangal, party national general secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty, and other prominent figures from various political parties attended the funeral.
