A central law to protect Amaravati

A proposed bill in Parliament seeks to grant Amaravati legal recognition as the capital, aiming to prevent future attempts at shifting the capital by successive governments. The bill is intended to secure formal recognition from the Central government and prevent any further changes to the capital designation. The TDP-led coalition government, which supports the bill, believes that the project should be completed within three years.
