Visakh Refinery’s residue upgradation facility is a major milestone for A.P., says CM

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu celebrated the commissioning of HPCL Visakh Refinery’s new Residue Upgradation Facility (RUF), a major achievement for Andhra Pradesh under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision. The facility, featuring three of the world's heaviest reactors, is part of the three-stage Visakh Refinery Modernisation Project (VRMP) and will help meet regional fuel needs while boosting socio-economic growth. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been credited with supporting the project to enhance national energy security, according to Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
