Congress Leader Blocks Kerala CM's Convoy, Police Register Case
On Friday, Anil Kumar, a Thiruvananthapuram District Congress Committee leader, blocked VD Satheesan's convoy in Thiruvananthapuram while the Kerala Chief Minister was heading to an event marking Sree Narayana Guru's birth anniversary. After a heated exchange, Satheesan left. Police registered a case against Kumar under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for wrongful restraint and obstructing official duties. Kumar denied blocking the convoy and criticized Satheesan’s conduct.
