Congress Attacks BJP for Shielding Minister Shah from Army Colonel Insult Charges

On August 26, 2026, the Madhya Pradesh Congress attacked the BJP government over reports that the State Cabinet refused to allow prosecution of Minister Vijay Shah for derogatory remarks against Indian Army Colonel Sofia Qureshi.
