Minister R. Kumar Plans ₹5 Crore "Vettri Tamil Nadu Super App" for 500 Services

On Tuesday, R. Kumar, Minister for Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology and Digital Services in the Assembly, announced plans to introduce “Vettri Tamil Nadu Super App” at a cost of ₹5 crore, enabling citizens to access 500 government services via mobile phones. A portal called “Vetri Tamil Nadu Web Portal” will also be created for public engagement. Additionally, an AI Advisory Council and the second phase of the Cultural Digital Repository project are planned to document cultural sites across several districts at a cost of ₹60 lakh.
