Supreme Court Orders ECI to Detail 38 Lakh Electoral Roll Appeals

On August 25, 2026, the Supreme Court directed the Election Commission of India (ECI) to file an affidavit detailing the number of appeals for inclusion and exclusion in West Bengal's electoral rolls.
