
Press Clubs Pledge Legal Aid for Persecuted Journalists at Hyderabad Conclave
Journalists facing persecution by the state is a serious threat to press freedom.
The Federation of Press Clubs resolved to provide legal aid for journalists persecuted by the State, corporate interests, and other entities during a two-day National Media Conclave in Hyderabad on Sunday. The federation also plans reporting fellowships, legislative intervention, and curricula development for media literacy courses as part of the Hyderabad Declaration.
