Bihar Government announces healthcare facilities for elderly at doorsteps

Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, announced a new scheme to provide healthcare services directly to elderly citizens. The initiative, part of the 'Saat Nischay' (seven resolves) program, aims to offer nursing assistance, pathology tests at home, blood pressure checks, ECG tests, physiotherapy, and other medical support to senior citizens in their homes as needed. Kumar instructed the Health Department to prioritize its implementation and encouraged residents to submit suggestions for additional services through email or postal mail.
