Viswanathan, founder and chancellor of VIT, conferred degrees on Nikunj Gupta, son of Delhi Chief Minister and BJP leader Rekha Gupta, who completed his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Business Systems, and his cousin Garj, who specialized in Blockchain Technology. Both graduated after a four-year course.
