Water Project Soars to ₹30,000 Crore Without Completion; Politicians Clash

Ivan D’Souza, a ruling Congress member, criticized the Legislative Council over the delayed Yettinahole Integrated Drinking Water Supply Project, which began in July 2012 and aims to divert water from west of Sakleshpur. The project’s cost escalated from ₹8,323.50 crore to nearly ₹30,000 crore by 2026 without completion.
