India's Rijiju dismisses Chinese incursion claims as incorrect

Kiren Rijiju, India's Parliamentary Affairs Minister, dismissed claims of a Chinese incursion 60 km into Arunachal Pradesh as "incorrect," telling IANS that the border between India and China in Arunachal is long and not clearly demarcated. He noted that while China began road construction earlier than India, the current government has accelerated infrastructure development along the border since 2014. ITBP patrolling has been strengthened in response to local concerns.
