VCK leader demands anti-drug squad as he backs government

On Tuesday, Thol. Thirumavalavan, founder of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi and MP from Chidambaram, met Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay to discuss supporting the government for its full term. At a press conference, Thirumavalavan praised Vijay’s resolutions on Tamil nationalism and urged him to fight for State rights. He also called for investigating drug-related murders and forming an anti-drug squad. Thirumavalavan confirmed VCK's continued support for TVK after their recent alliance formation.
