After Hemant Soren announced the cancellation of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission-Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) examination and other exams conducted by TSR Data Processing Private Limited since 2014 following a special Cabinet meeting, 1,975 employees protested outside the Cabinet Secretariat. They were stopped from entering their workplaces on Tuesday morning and threatened legal action, claiming they had not been notified of termination or job discontinuation. The cancellation followed a 24-day protest in Ranchi by students alleging irregularities.
