On Monday, Thol. Thirumavalavan, president of the newly recognized political party Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), addressed a rally in Ulundurpet, calling for the VCK to become a ruling force in Tamil Nadu alongside his ally C. Joseph Vijay. The conference passed 125 resolutions supporting Tamil Eelam and demanding greater State autonomy, rejecting hegemonic politics, and advancing Tamil nationalism.
