Unemployed protesters demand Jagan's resignation, arrest over recruitment irregularities
On August 17, 2026, leaders of the Unemployed JAC, student organizations, and unemployed youth protested at the APPSC office in Vijayawada over irregularities in 2022 Group-1 recruitments. They demanded Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's resignation, arrest, and a CBI investigation. Unemployed JAC State convenor Shaik Siddik accused Mr. Jagan of turning APPSC into “YSRCPSC” and called for canceled recruitments and new exams.
