Activists stage protests in Belagavi against VB-G RAM G Act

Grameena Koolikarmikara Sangha, Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist), and All India Krishi Karmik Sanghatane members protested against the new rural job scheme, VB-G RAM G, demanding its withdrawal. They argued that the scheme's shift from a demand-based to a supply-based model removes their right to work and reduces employment opportunities during the monsoon season. Protesters also criticized the lack of proper parliamentary discussion before the new law was passed, claiming it undermines public welfare schemes and cuts funding for them.
