Police leadership reshuffle across Shivamogga and Chikkamagaluru districts

Several district-level officers have been transferred in Karnataka as the new year begins. Gurudatta Hegade, who was DC of Shivamogga, has been moved to Bengaluru to serve as Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare Services and Managing Director of Karnataka State Medical Supplies Corporation Limited. C.N. Meena Nagaraj, the previous DC of Chikkamagaluru, has been appointed Commissioner of Revenue in Bengaluru. G.K. Mithun Kumar, who served as Shivamogga SP for over three years, is now a DCP in Bengaluru. Nikhil B. will take over as Shivamogga SP, while Vikram Amathe has been transferred to the East Division in Bengaluru. Jitendra Kumar Dayama, previously serving as SP of ANF, has taken charge as Chikkamagaluru's new SP.
