TDP, YSRCP Clash Over Mega Teacher Recruitment: CBI Probe Demanded
On Monday, Andhra Pradesh's ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) clashed over alleged irregularities in a Mega DSC teacher recruitment process. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu defended the selection, which filled 16,347 posts with 15,941 candidates, against YSRCP's demand for a CBI probe and resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh. The government claims transparency in the recruitment through TCS iON system, rejecting allegations of paper leakage and merit list manipulation.
