On August 10, Jharkhand Police used water cannons to disperse student protesters near the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha in Ranchi. The students demanded cancellation of JPSC and JSSC-CGL exams and a CBI probe into alleged irregularities. Despite police action, some danced and cheered under water jets during their march. BJP leaders were also detained during protests.
