Carrying a portrait of former Chief Minister Shibu Soren and on an ambulance due to hunger strike, Mahato urged Hemant Soren, the current CM, not to take police action against protestors, warning that bloodshed would harm democracy. Mahato has been fasting for nine days at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium.
