On Saturday night (August 8, 2026), YSRCP leaders including former Ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Dharmana Krishna Das strongly condemned the arrest of Amadalavalasa constituency in-charge Chintada Ravikumar and 25 others on charges of misbehaviour with a woman Sub-Inspector during Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit to Ampolu on July 30, 2026. Ravikumar was arrested on the outskirts of Srikakulam.
