In the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls, Election Commission of India lacks safeguards against including deceased voters despite allegations. Congress leader Feroz Khan flagged concerns in 2024, presenting evidence of a dead voter still listed. Any adult can fill and sign enumeration forms on behalf of others, allowing for irregularities. With Booth Level Officers not conducting house visits, impersonation is possible. As of July 28, 479,405 voters are listed under the Absent, Shifted, and Dead category.
