Alternative housing in Baiyyappanahalli for eligible families displaced from Kogilu Layout: CM
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced that BSWML, the Bangalore Solid Waste Management Limited, will provide alternative housing for displaced families from Kogilu Layout in Yelahanka. The decision was made after K.C. Venugopal, an AICC general secretary (Organization), expressed concern over the demolitions and urged the government to take action. The families will be relocated to a multi-storey residential complex in Baiyyappanahalli, with subsidies available for eligible beneficiaries. Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan has been tasked with ensuring that the relocation process begins on January 1st.
