Doctor Assailed in Hospital Attack Remains Traumatized, Avoids Work

Advocate Ajinkya Adsul, who represents Dr Vaibhav Salunkhe, told NDTV that the doctor remains traumatised and fearful over a month after being assaulted during an attack at a Dombivli hospital on July 6. Dr Salunkhe has not returned to Kalyan and continues to suffer from medical ailments linked to the incident. Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre was granted bail but must stay in a Goa resort during trial, as ordered by the Bombay High Court.
