Telangana Property Owners Protest Land Sale Restrictions

Property owners in Telangana, including Udayagiri Prasad, are unable to sell or transfer their legally purchased lands due to entire survey numbers being listed under Section 22A of the Registration Act as prohibited categories. The Congress-led government denies adding land deliberately since December 2023. Protesters from the Telangana Realtors Association staged a demonstration at the Narapally Sub-Registrar’s Office, demanding removal from the list and permission for registrations.
