Selvaperunthagai slams Praveen Chakravarty’s ‘T.N. debt level’ remark; files complaint with AICC

K. Selvaperunthagai, president of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC), criticized Praveen Chakravarty, a Congress functionary, for his remarks on Tamil Nadu's debt levels and disputed the claim that the DMK government has transformed the state into a developed one. Selvaperunthagai filed a complaint with the All India Congress Committee (AICC) president regarding Chakravarty's statements, asserting they do not represent the official stance of the TNCC. He also stated that seat-sharing talks for the upcoming elections are progressing well within the INDIA bloc.
