KTR accuses Congress government of deliberately stalling Palamuru–Ranga Reddy project
K.T. Rama Rao, working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accused the Telangana Congress government of deliberately delaying the Palamuru–Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Project (PRLIP) for political reasons. He claimed the government was blocking the project to avoid displeasing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and out of fear that its completion would strengthen former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s legacy. He also criticized the demand that KCR, as Chandrasekhar Rao is known, attend Assembly discussions on irrigation issues.
