
Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar Rejects Reports of Differences with Siddaramaiah
On Monday, DK Shivakumar, Chief Minister of Karnataka, addressed speculation about differences within the Congress party following a Cabinet expansion. He asserted that former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was not dissatisfied and assured women would soon be included in the State Cabinet. After chairing the first post-expansion meeting at Vidhana Soudha, Shivakumar stated that new faces were chosen despite many senior legislators being available. He rejected reports of differences with Siddaramaiah, saying decisions were made collectively after consultations.shivakumar also addressed criticism over the absence of women and technical issues regarding ministerial berths.
