On August 3, vote counting began for the Bankipur (Bihar), Datia (Madhya Pradesh), and Manjalpur (Gujarat) by-elections. In Datia, BJP's Ashutosh Tiwari faces Congress nominee Ghanshyam Singh; in Bankipur, Jan Suraaj Party’s Prashant Kishor challenges BJP’s Neeraj Kumar Sinha; and in Manjalpur, BJP's Satish Govindbhai Patel competes against Congress leader Bhikhabhai Rabari.
