CBI closes coal block case without action, despite CAG report from 2012-2013
Arjun Ram Meghwal, Law and Justice Minister, informed the Lok Sabha on Friday that CBI registered one case, RC33/2022-EO-III-Delhi, based on a CAG report from 2012-2013 regarding coal block allocation irregularities. The case was filed to investigate “unknown public servants” and was closed in March 2025 with no plans for legal amendments by the government.
