Unnao rape case: survivor approaches CBI seeking FIR against Investigative Officer for 'colluding' with Sengar
Allegations of police collusion and evidence fabrication in a rape case are serious.
A victim of the 2017 Unnao rape case, who was a minor at the time, has filed a complaint with the CBI alleging that the former investigating officer acted dishonestly and in collusion with the convicted ex-MLA, Kuldeep Singh Sengar. The woman claims the officer fabricated evidence, including forged school documents and falsely attributed statements to her. She also alleges she faced threats from various quarters following the conviction of Sengar for rape and custodial death of her father.
