On Tuesday, Assam reported seven more flood-related deaths, raising the toll to 75. The affected population decreased to 3.32 lakh across seven districts: Sivasagar, Charaideo, Golaghat, Jorhat, Nagaon, Sonitpur, and Kamrup Metropolitan. Sixty-two villages in 21 revenue circles were impacted, with Charaideo worst hit. Eighty-one relief camps sheltered 32,477 displaced people as multiple agencies conducted rescue operations. The Dhansiri (S) river exceeded danger levels at Numaligarh.
